NRPSI Full Registered Arabic–English Legal Interpreter. Criminal defence, immigration & asylum specialist. iCQ Level 6 DPSI Law (Distinction). Remote UK‑wide.
I am Mustafa Kamel Abdul Rahman Ahmed, RPSI — an Arabic–English legal interpreter specialising in criminal defence, immigration, and asylum work. With over 400 verified hours of legal interpreting and an iCQ Level 6 DPSI Law (Distinction), I support solicitors, counsel, public bodies, and NGOs across the UK — entirely remotely.
My practice is built on accuracy, cultural depth, and professional discipline — especially in sensitive cases involving trauma, persecution, and vulnerability. I believe that the quality of interpreting in a Crown Court trial or an asylum interview can be the difference between justice and injustice. I do not take that lightly.
I work across Modern Standard Arabic and rare dialects including Yemeni Sana'ani and Sudanese — combinations that are in high demand and require specialist linguistic and cultural knowledge. My Sana'ani Yemeni specialism is among the rarest and most complex dialect capabilities available in UK legal interpreting.
I am NRPSI Full Registered (No. 17911) — entered on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters for Arabic (Law). My qualifications, experience, and security clearance have been independently verified, and I am bound by the NRPSI Code of Professional Conduct. In November 2025, the Home Office Immigration & Legal Services Unit awarded me a Letter of Merit — a commendation of outstanding achievement — in recognition of my interpreting performance on ILSU panels.
